I’m always thinking about color, patterns, and textures and how different colors relate to one another new ways of expressing the feeling of the beach…How to evoke a feeling when you walk into a room sense of tranquility that you might experience at the beach.

I have always loved the beach – that sense of serenity, that ability to breath, that sense of peace that comes from smelling the salt air when you cross over the bridge. From feeling the sun on your face to ending the day with salt in your hair and on your skin.
I always knew I wanted to start a business and that it had to be something creative – bring my love of art and the beach together. I have always known thought that I have an innate – unexplainable desire – It’s something inside me that if I don’t honor it – I will be forever disappointed. I had to get over thinking that I’m too old, I’m broken, I’m not good enough, smart enough, educated enough. I’ve come to realize people aren’t successful because they just wake up and have success immediately. They have it because they keep getting back up and trying again. They have it because every step taken is an opportunity to learn something and keep on moving forward and not giving up. For me this is about the journey - rather than waiting for the right path to appear, I will start walking and creating my path. I’ve realized that action creates insight and the appropriate next steps always reveals itself.
